Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to support and execute all company initiatives as well as assist the Store Manager in fostering a culture of teamwork to maximize the profitability of the store. Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Support and partner with the Store Manager to complete daily operations in a timely manner • Ability to meet and exceed the store sales plan • Provide an individualized and positive experience for all customers entering the store, this includes providing great service, effectively answering any questions, and helping process transactions and returns. • Attend to stock and inventory levels within the store and help create engaging and stimulating merchandising displays • Foster a culture of teamwork, providing excellent customer service, and driving business results as well as provide consistent motivation and feedback to store associates to maximize performance and results • Follow store standard to develop and monitor clientele communication and growth • Ensure consistent delivery of superior customer service • Assist in the execution of all merchandising and visual presentation standards • Assist in the oversight of opening/closing procedures • Assist the store manager in sourcing of qualified candidates • Assist in training new associates to set them up for success • Ensure all associates comply with company policies and procedures • Support and execute all company initiatives • Assist Store Manager in maximizing the profitability of the store • Responsible for store inventory control and loss prevention • Other duties as assigned The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Skills and Qualifications • Have an outgoing, positive and energetic personality • Proven ability to deliver sales results • Be driven and goal oriented, take ownership and accountability • Possess sound judgment and ability coach others • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills • Have the ability to utilize retail equipment: Point of Sale system, tablets (iPad), scanners • Be proficient in Microsoft programs like Excel and Work, and be comfortable with collaboration and asset management tools like Google Drive, Dropbox, and the like • Have the ability to work flexible hours; days, nights, weekends & holidays • High stress tolerance - thrives in a high-pressure environment • Have the ability to adhere to store banking procedures and requirements • Collaborative - ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow co-workers
